Night Competition

Caloundra District Netball Association offers weekly night competitions for players aged 14 years and over, with options for ladies social, ladies graded, and mixed teams.

Whether you're returning to the court, playing with friends, or looking for a new team, CDNA's Social Netball Competitions have something for everyone.

Fun, Competitive & Social Environment

NEW FOR 2026 SEASON 2

The A1 Ladies Competition will compete for the Caloundra RSL Shield and a $1,000 Cash Prize.
Games are 15 minute quarters.

All other divisions:

Games are 12 minute quarters.

Winners and runners up receive Caloundra RSL team gift vouchers to celebrate.

Registrations via Netball Connect:
1. Use your existing account or create a new account by downloading the Netball Connect app and creating a user profile (reuse existing registrations to ensure multiple fees aren't incurred);
2. Team captains register the team first, including the adding of players to the team list.
3. Players will receive an email with a link to complete their individual registration
4. Grading Notification Team Captains will receive notification of 1st grading game.

Important Information

Netball Queensland Registration
A once-per-year registration fee applies and includes your Netball Queensland (NQ) membership and insurance for all CDNA Social Competitions.

Court Fees
Team full season court fees must be paid upfront.

Forfeit Policy
No refunds will be issued for teams that forfeit a game. However, if your team is forfeited against, a credit may be applied toward finals rounds, where applicable.

Rules

No body jewellery of any kind is permitted on court.
Taping of fingernails, jewellery and/or piercings is not permitted.
Approved netball gloves may be worn.

World Netball rules

CDNA follows World Netball Rules, with one exception: approved netball gloves are permitted.

Uniform Code

Teams must wear matching uniforms (same colour and similar design) of skirt/shorts and shirt.
Shirts must not expose the midriff.
Each team must supply their own bibs.

Start Dates:

Tuesday Social Ladies: team grading begins Tuesday, February 3rd 2026
Wednesday Graded Ladies & Mixed Social: team grading begins Wednesday, February 4th 2026

SEASON 2

Start Dates:

Tuesday Social Ladies: team grading begins Tuesday, July 14th 2026
Wednesday Graded Ladies & Mixed Social: team grading begins Wednesday, July 15th 2026

Each season has 2 weeks of grading followed by 14 rounds of competition prior to Finals.

Finals Format:
Semi-Finals
Semi-Final 1 1^st on the ladder plays 2^nd on the ladder	Winner through to Grand Final Loser to Prelim Finals
Semi-Final 2 3^rd on the ladder plays 4^th on the ladder	Winner to Prelim Finals Loser knocked out
Prelim Finals:
Loser of Semi-Finals 1 players winner of Semi-Finals 2	Winner to Grand Final Loser knocked out
Grand Final:
